    A book of condolence has been opened for journalist Ibrahim Samura of the New Age Newspaper. He passed away at the Military hospital, Wilberforce following a short illness. He was one of Sierra Leone’s finest journalists who was known for his integrity and truthfulness in handling issues relating to governance. The ceremony was held at the SLAJ Conference Hall , where senior journalists and ministers of government signed the book of condolence .

    The Medical Superintendent at the Kissy Psychiatrist hospital Dr Abdul Jalloh has told SLBC that Seventy percent of the patients admitted are young people with drug abuse history. According to Dr Jalloh, the Kissy Psychiatric hospital presently houses One hundred and Thirty Eight patients with males accounting for Seventy percent.
